Because of the busyness of our daily lives, we often miss the opportunity to share Christ’s love with those around us in practical, tangible ways. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus told His followers to let their light shine before others so they may see our good works and give glory to God. On May 17, we want to shine God’s light in our community and give people a glimpse of God’s love for them. Let’s be on mission together on May 17. More information will follow, but for now please: 1) PRAY: Pray that Christ will show us the areas and opportunities to serve Him on May 17. 2) LOOK: Look for possible projects around the church and in your community. Examples may include yard work, one-day building project, collect and deliver “goodies” to public service workers, volunteer at a local ministry center, host a lunch or social gathering at your home. 3) SHARE: Discuss with Teena and Traci the areas and opportunities God has given you where EBC might serve.
